Professor Terry De Lacy joins Victoria University
Professor Terry De Lacy has been appointed to the position of Professorial Fellow with the Victoria University’s Centre of Hospitality and Tourism Research.
Terry previously held the position of CEO of the national Sustainable Tourism Co-operative Research Centre, an initiative of the Australian Government. Prior to this, he was Dean of the Agriculture and Natural Resources Faculty at the University of Queensland.
Terry coordinated the Earthcheck program, used in over 50 countries to examine the sustainability performance of tourism businesses and destinations. Owing to his extensive research of Asia he holds a prestigious position as a member of the Queensland Government’s China Council for ecotourism.
