Accounting & Finance Business WIL Expo 2008

All Business students interested in careers in Accounting and Finance (studying Accounting, Banking and Finance, Financial Risk Mgmt, Applied Economics or any VU Bachelors degree course… ) are invited to attend the Faculty of Business and Law Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Accounting and Finance Business Expo.

This is your chance to:

• meet with companies such as Ernst and Young, Ford, ANL, Holden, KPMG, The Practice … and many more;
• discuss WIL positions with industry professionals and increase your chances of securing a WIL position for 2009;
• develop your understanding of the diverse career options available in the rewarding fields of accounting and finance;
• meet representatives from the major professional associations;
• practise your networking skills and learn how you can gain exclusive access to a wide range of exciting workplace learning opportunities;
• win prizes to the value of $50, including mobile phone credit, movie tickets and/or VU Bookshop vouchers.

The Business Expo will be held on:

Wednesday 6th August from 10am - 12 Noon
Level 12, City Flinders Campus, Victoria University

Business Attire essential.

The Expo is open to all VU students.

Students registered for WIL and seeking a career in the Accounting/Finance field are expected to attend this Expo.

TRANSPORT

EXPOBUS - To make it easy for you to get into the City we will be arranging a bus to take students from Footscray Park and Werribee campuses into the City and back again. If you would like to book a seat on the bus, please email wil.businessandlaw@vu.edu.au with your name, student ID, course and campus BEFORE NOON ON FRIDAY 1ST AUGUST. We will send you the bus details and your pre Expo info kit.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT

Alternatively make your own way to VU’s City Flinders campus, directly opposite Flinders St station and a 2 minute walk from Elizabeth Street trams.

TIMETABLE CLASH?

If you have a class normally scheduled for this time and you would like to attend the Expo, please contact your lecturer and discuss the possibility of attending an alternate lecture/tute for that week - this is a one off chance to meet with key industry employers.
