Training for the Legal Profession

The Cowen Centre focuses on three areas:

Management training
This is for practitioners at associate, senior associate and partner level in areas such as project management, human resource development and management, business and financial planning and leadership. The Centre also offers mentoring and support programs for senior practitioners.

Legal updates
The Centre draws on the skills of senior practitioners and academics to provide prompt and practical updates to address any changes in area of legal practice as they occur.

Notarial practice
The Centre has developed a postgraduate course in notarial practice benchmarked on the Diploma of Notarial Practice offered by the University of Cambridge’s Institute of Continuing Education but tailored to meet the needs of Victorian practitioners.
