School of Accounting students are sought after because industry knows they can hit the ground running in any business setting. Many of our graduates excel as business leaders and company executives.

We are one of the largest schools of accounting in Australia, with undergraduate and postgraduate students spread across five campuses, including China, Malaysia and Singapore.

Our graduates work in the public and private sector in many fields, such as banking, auditing, taxation, management and financial accounting.

COURSES

Our undergraduate Accounting courses are professionally accredited by CPA Australia, the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia, the National Institute of Accountants and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.

Postgraduate Accounting courses have two specialisations: a course to qualify students as accountants (professionally accredited); and a course that provides continuing professional education.

Postgraduate opportunities include the popular Master of Accounting and the new Graduate Diploma in Professional Accounting, which provides students with a shorter (8 unit, one year full time) route to professional membership.

The Master of Accounting can also be combined with the MBA, the Master of Business (Finance) and the Master of Business (Enterprise Resource Planning Systems) for a double Master degree over two years full time.

WORK INTEGRATED LEARNING

The Work Integrated Learning program helps students kickstart their careers by offering paid industry experience. Many of our graduates have become leaders in their fields by building on these industry-based skills. For further information contact the Work Integrated Learning Centre.
