CICGR News and EventsSpecial Event: Structural Equation Modellingwith Everada Cunningham The Centre for International Corporate Governance Research (CICGR) within the Faculty of Business and Law, Victoria University is pleased to present this course on STRUCTURAL EQUATION MODELLING with Everada Cunningham. CICGR aims to improve governance of the private and public sectors through the use of independent academic research and consultancies, and the commissioning of studies.

Victoria University Professorial Fellow, Ronald D. Francis said: “There are many short courses available for those who aspire to authorship. What is different about this course is that it is presented by people who are knowledgeable and successful in book writing and publishing.” This course is for anyone considering writing a non-fiction work. The topics to be covered include: Conceiving a book; Writing a proposal and outline; Writing the book; Approaching a publisher; Contracts; Marketing; and Dealing with criticism. The four expert presenters are two authors, a bookseller, and a publisher. The presenters are two well-published and successful authors, a bookseller, and a publisher – each with a unique and informed view. The authors to present are Arthur Tatnall and Ronald D. Francis. Between them the authors have published over 35 books with a number of publishers, including Australian Academic Press, Pearsons Education, Law Book Company, Jacaranda-Wiley, Springer, Palgrave Macmillan, and Blackwells.
There will be plenty of time for questions and informal advice. Cost: $95. Notes, morning tea, and lunch provided.
