The School of Information Systems harnesses expert staff, the latest technology, software, research and facilities to ensure that our students will be indispensable to the smooth operations of any company.
Flexibility is the key to our success. Courses can be tailored to give students that vital employment advantage in a range of professional fields. Close working relationships with government agencies, industry organisations and corporate sponsors give our students the practical know-how for landing the best jobs.
We offer three basic undergraduate degrees in:
- information systems
- electronic commerce
- computer systems management.
Students can undertake joint degrees, combining information systems with other courses in the Faculty of Business and Law, such as management and tourism. Joint degrees in conjunction with other Victoria University faculties are also available.
Industry partnerships are critical to the success of our students:
Under the Faculty's Work Integrated Learning programs, students gain paid work experience as part of their degree.
Our program of postgraduate research degrees and doctorates is comprehensive and cutting edge. We are one of only two schools in Australia offering a postgraduate course in enterprise resource planning systems, using SAP software for multi-faceted systems suitable for large organisations. |
