Received five linkage grants, one linkage international grant, one discovery grant, two European Union Grants, a French Government Science grant and a Dutch Government Science Grant, totalling over seven million Australian dollars.

Previously Associate Editor Australian Computer Journal. Currently on editorial board of INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF INFORMATION AND COMPUTER SECURITY, Journal of Artificial Intelligence and Law and Journal of Internet Research.

General Chairman of the Sixth and Ninth International Conferences on Artificial Intelligence and Law.
