Our Graduates
Scott Bingley
"I finished VCE in 1999 and started a Bachelor of Business (Information Systems) at Victoria University in 2000. I took advantage of VU's Co-Operative Workplace Learning program in my Third year and worked as a programmer for a Mailhouse in Laverton. My Fourth year was the most exciting because I spent the first semester on an University exchange program to Pennsylvania, USA.
Last year I completed my degree with first class Honours and am currently working as a Test Analyst for a Credit Card Processing company in the City. I was recently awarded a Australian Postgraduate scholarship to do my PhD next year, and can't wait for that.
Highlights of my undergraduate course were my exchange year, where I enjoyed the whole American University experience, and my Co-op year where I learnt so much that you don't learn in a classroom.
There are so many services VU offers: scholarships, Overseas exchange programs, Co-op education. To be honest, I didn't get a high ENTER score, however there are still so many courses you can do."

Asad Rehman
Asad gets great job satisfaction from being a business analyst with the ANZ bank. He has worked
there since 2003 – the same year he completed his Master of Business
in Information Systems at Victoria University. “I worked in different roles until late 2004 when I moved to operations technology and shared services, which is the technology department of ANZ bank,” he says. “At the moment I'm
working as a business/system analyst in Esanda Finance on different IT projects.”
As a business analyst, Asad’s responsibilities include business requirement
gathering, business analysis, system design, liaising with business and technical
resources, and organising user acceptance testing and the business transition
agreement.
Asad is thankful he studied at VU’s School of Information Systems.
“Staff helped me acquire the knowledge aligned with industry demands,” he says. “I think it is a great inspiration
... to know how the knowledge gained during studies at the School of Information Systems has helped individuals to achieve their career goals.”
