Business Integrated Learning
Business Integrated Learning (sometimes referred to as “BIL”) is another innovative way for students to gain practical experience in the business community while studying.
The BIL program recognises that some industries are unable to take on untrained students full time. Instead, relevant project work, part-time employment, a holiday job or even voluntary work – of 150 hours of industry contact – can count towards a student's degree.
Business Integrated Learning recognises the industry-based experiences undertaken by students while completing their qualifications in all Business courses (except for Hospitality and Tourism Management which requires Co-operative Education to be completed). BIL is mandatory for students undertaking Event Management courses.
