Employers are increasingly demanding that their employees have both tertiary qualifications and practical experience.
Employers who have participated in our Work Integrated Learning programs know that the benefits are far reaching.
They include:
cost-effective, temporary employees, usually available for about 12 months;
a preview of potential job candidates – lowering your recruitment costs; and
enthusiastic and motivated employees.
In their first two years of study, our students develop a wide range of skills, including expertise in IT, accounting techniques and an understanding of economic, legal and statistical applications for business.
How can I become involved?
Our dedicated staff liaises closely with employers, students and academics to facilitate the Work Integrated Learning recruitment process. Coordinators will select professionally presented
CVs, help arrange interviews, supervise students and evaluate the period of employment to ensure the experience is a success for both students and employers.
